NOTES:
William Newton CALDWELL, wife Adeline Riddle CALDWELL came to Bosque
Co.
in
1871.
Some of the family moved to Hill County including my grandfather
John Colwell(that's how he began to spell the last name) and later
his brother Henry.
I don't know what happened to his brothers Willie and
Tom or sisters Beatrice and Addie.
Someone send me an e-mail a few days ago and said there were Caldwells
today
in Clifton they thought.
Also I wrote to the County Clerk to try and find a death certificate
for a Nannie L. Caldwell Griffin who married in Bosque Co and lived there
at least through the 1920's. Her husband William B. Griffin died
there on June 26, 1941. I don't know where either of the Griffins are buried.
