Looking for information on and decendents of William and Melinda (HAMMETT) RICHARDSON of Walton County. Had a son named George W. born in December of 1864 who settled in Louisiana in the 1880's. Other children were Robert, Lucy, Claire, Alvin, and maybe others.

I am seaching for any and all information regardiing a family of Kennedy's begining with a Campbell Kennedy who lived in Elbert Co, GA & Bradley Co, TN and died in 1811, his son Robert Kennedy in Bradley Co, TN, who died in 1830. Robert's son John C Kennedy born 1824 in Henry Co. He moved to Elbert Co and then to Bradley Co TN. He had 4 sons who moved to Loganville, Walton Co, GA between 1845 and 1855. The 4 sons were William F Kenney b 1827, Robert C Kennedy, James A Kennedy and Joseph M Kennedy. These 4 brothers lived in Walton Co Ga but apparently ownd property and did business in Henry, Rockville and Newton Counties. I am lookiing for any and all information for any of these relatives

I am searching information about my mother, Evelyn Annette Ellison's father's ancestry. Her father was George Lee Ellison, Jr. (b. Atlanta,ga 1926). His parents were: Willie Alma Boggus of Hall County, GA and George Lee Ellison, Sr. of Walton county, GA. Willie had previously been married to Harry McClain of atlanta. Looking for information on the family of Joseph G. Hardy. His address when he joined the Army was Rte #1, Good Hope, GA. T/5 Hardy was KIA during the landing at Utah beach on June 6, 1944. He was engaged to my aunt, Eleanor Lanning. I would like to find further information about the family. I am looking for the parents and siblings of Marcus L. WATSON b 1832/33 who was living in Walton Co. in 1850. He was 17 at the time of the 1850 census and may have been apprenticed as a mechanic to a John PITTMAN (also a mechanic) as Marcus is listed under Pittman's household. Marcus later went to work for the rail road and is listed as a rail road agent in 1860 in another county.

Robert Eugene Crutchfield son of Esther Strand (and Charlie Crutchfield??): Robert Crutchfield married Alice Martin (also of Walton Cty). Robert Crutchfield had numerous siblings the names of none are known to me. Alice Martin, daughter of Nesbit Martin and Margarite Martin. She also had numerous siblings. Any help will be appreciated.

I am searching for any and all information about a Kennedy family. A John C Kennedy born in Elbert County Ga moved to Henry County in 1824. He then moved to Bradley County, Tenn where he died. His five children, Robert C, William F, James A, Joseph M and Elizabeth moved back to Loganville, Walton County, Ga in the late 1840�s, early 1850�s. Two of the brothers were Post Master of Loganville. They apparently moved between Henry, Walton and Newton Counties on various occasions. James A Kennedy and Joseph M Kennedy bought a mill in Newton County in 1867. Joseph�s son Edward Foster Kennedy was born in Newton County. I am searching the Walton Co./ Atlanta area for my grgrandfather. He is J.O. SHEPHERD the J. is for JUDSON or JUSTIN. I think I found his wife's grave in Social Cir. Cemetery. In the plot was MARY ELIZABETH WHITEHEAD,wife of J.O. SHEPHERD, J.O. Jr., and infant son of J.O.and M.E. SHEPHERD. MARY was b.April 12, 1847 d.April 30, 1894. My Grandfather was John Martin Bentley B- 1869 AL. His Father was Henry Henderson Bentley B-1838 AL. His Mother was Elizabeth Bentley B-1818 GA.I think Elizabeth`s Husband was James J. Bentley.According to Allan Bentley`s info Elizabeth`s Parents were Isaac Bentley and Elizabeth William. However, I have an 1850 census with Henry Henderson age 12 and Elizabeth Bentley age 32 being censused with Thomas Livingston and his wife Matilda. Matilda Bentley had a sister named Elizabeth. Their parents were John Bentley B-1759 and Elizabrth Slack B- Bef. 1789. Please, can some one help me unweave my web of Bentleys. I understand there is a Family Reunion for decendants of Elizabeth Bentley in Covington next July. Would like to know more. Elizabeth was censused with Henry Henderson Bentley and his wife Mary Permelia Gilbert in 1860-and 1870 and with the Livingstons in 1850. Where was her husband and did she have other children? I am looking for any information at all, that I can find about my grgr grandparents. Nathaniel M. BATCHELOR and Elsey/Alsey COX were married in Walton co, GA June 7, 1835. I have no idea about Elsey's parents at all. I would love to know something! As for Nathaniel, a number of people have researched our family, and none of them can place him in the NC Batchelor's. The census states he was born there. They moved on to Carroll co, GA in 1850, and was listed as Batchelder. Evidently, Nathaniel also had some lands in AL. His first three sons were born there. I cannot find records of their births either, but again, census states they were born in AL. Nathaniel moved back and forth, according to land records. My family all confirm the sons stated they were born in AL. I do find some records of marriages in Walton county. I think these people were related in some way. I will list them below.
